This week I want to focus on how my parent’s community wrapped their arms around my family when they found out about my dad’s hospitalization and subsequent death. It was hard for my parent’s tight-knit community to not notice when the ambulance pulled into my parent’s driveway.
This will be my first Father’s Day without my dad. I know I am not alone in this experience. There are many of you grieving in some way having to do with your father.
As many of you know I’ve been absent from blogging for a few weeks due to Family Matters regarding my Mom and Dad. Sadly, after one week of visiting and caring for my parents, my Dad had a heart attack and died.
